Audit trail

Audit Trail in the sidebar is the organization’s own record of who did what: invitations, membership and role changes, changes to the organization’s details, and changes to a line’s settings and shifts. It is written by the action itself, in the same moment, so an entry is there for exactly what happened and nothing else.

Action Recorded when
Invitation created Someone invites a person by link or email
Invitation cancelled An open invitation is cancelled
Member joined A person accepts an invitation
Member added An existing account is added directly
Role changed A member’s role changes, with the old and new role
Member removed A member is removed from the organization
Organization details changed General details are saved, with the old and new values
Line settings changed A line’s label, fallback, time zone or call experience changes
Shift added, changed, removed The schedule on a line changes

Each entry names who did it, when, and to whom or to what. Where values changed, the entry carries what they were before and after.

Filter by action, by who did it, or by a date range, and search the entries. Choose a person in the list to see everything that person did. Entries are kept for good; there is nothing to archive.

Owners and admins. The trail is about the organization’s own actions and is visible to the people responsible for it; a member does not see the entry for their own role change, but they will notice the change.

This is the organization’s record, not a log of every click. Sign-ins, page views and reads are not in it.
